Why do some people really like putting how long something took when they share it? This is in reference to a FB group I'm in. A posted drawing and the big reveal was that it took 4 hours. Now, 4 hours is pretty average for me if I'm drawing just a person without any bells or whistles. But I don't feel like it's a brag. 4 hours really isn't that long to work on something, and on the flip side, they drew just a person - no background, no complex pose - and 4 hours to produce that isn't insanely fast, either. Now, I can understand some people will put time in as a joke. Like dude I worked on this for 12 hours and it's just horrendous what's wrong with me? Like how I love joking about layer usage. One person never creates a second layer and draws a pretty nice picture, and I average...idk like 30 layers for just the skin lol. And you do get faster as you learn and adjust technique and use new art supplies. So I feel like it's more important to discuss concepts & the quality of the work instead. Shit man, I don't even keep track of the time 😂

I'm getting super fucking tired of this fucking app being so sensitive when you're scrolling. Like no, I didn't hold down the pressure, no, I don't want to share or fave whatever trash you just said I was faving. Like I don't even see what it was but...
